Timekeeping is an important part of a small removal companies job and luckily i`m one of the few who likes to be on time and sometimes earlier than expected. Its always good to turn up to do a job and its all ready and packed, which it should be well before the removal guys turn up. This isn’t always the case though. If goods are going to storage this can save them room as well as storage costs on size of the storage unit they rent.

This lack of preparation/common sense can create issues with packing the van safely in a methodical order and doing the job in a efficient time and carrying out the job in the time estimated.

Be prepared and make sure everything is ready to move well before you are booked to leave your property. If the removal man turns up early, be grateful, hes there and ready to crack on with the job. don’t say you are not ready or youre too early. All things we have heard in the past and to be honest even if Edinburgh Removal companies turned up 30 mins late some customers still wouldn’t be ready and does turning up 5 -15 minutes early really throw anyone out of sync ?
